Hello tippers! Well the site has been running for close to two weeks now, we’ve ironed out our major bugs, and we think it’s time to open up a little bit and invite some new friends to the party!
As we’ve been developing our idea and our website, we’ve been paying attention to the stock buzz online, and we’ve identified some industry influencers and experts via major social media sites, financial sites and blogs. As 2009 closes out we’d like to get some feedback from these fine folk. At this stage we’re seeding a community by interacting with and inviting key actors in the finance domain, both online and offline, to try out the Stocktipr concept, and establish our first set of top tippers.
What can you do as a beta tester, and why should you want to?

Even though we’re live, our work is far from done, in fact, it’s just getting started. Our platform is free and offer investors, with your help, awesome tips and visibility thru our site and other social media sites. We’re counting on our beta testers to dig in and try some features, click some links, fill in some forms, and generally, let us know what’s broken, what sucks, and what rocks. Post some tips!
At the heart of our community are shared stock tips. Stocktipr keeps track of your tip and whether it panned out – the better your record the better your standing on our tippers leaderboard, and the more exposure you’ll get! Our beta testers have the opportunity to be among the first tippers in what is currently a small community, enabling you to achieve ‘top tipper’ status quicker and easier, and gain a lot of personal exposure for your financial expertise. If you are among our beta testers we ask you to keep promotion, emailing, twittering and blogging to a minimum until we have worked with you to improve and enhance the beta product. We want your feedback first, so please don’t spread the word just yet!
What can Stocktipr can do for you?
It is very important for us to create value for our tippers. In that way we are willing to collaborate with you, your company or your site to expand and make this platform as useful, reliable and profitable for the community as it can be. We encourage guest posts, affiliations, promotions and collaborations. We are always open to suggestions.
We plan to be closely connected to and interactive with our community – the value of Stocktipr for you, the stock trader, is all about the quality of the community, the tips, and how well we listen to you. So get ready, Stocktipr is almost ready to start growing, and the more we grow, the more valuable it will be for everyone.
